Managing roles
The permission system in Prisma is based on user roles. Prisma offers default and custom user roles based on ACL rules.
As the names of the two categories imply, the types of roles are used for the different areas of Prisma:
Prisma offers default and customizable user roles based on ACL rules. These roles are defined for each Prisma section, including: Zabbix Client, Administration, Reporting, and Self Provisioning. With these roles, permissions can be precisely set to control a user’s access to different sections and functionalities within those sections. User roles in Prisma can be mapped to Zabbix user roles upon import or can be configured manually for each user. For more information on Zabbix roles, please refer to the Zabbix documentation about User Roles .
