Prisma user types

Prisma has two distinct user types - Prisma managers_ and Prisma users_.
Prisma managers are created within Prisma itself and are exclusively designed for administrative purposes. Prisma users, on the other hand, are Zabbix users imported into Prisma.

Prisma manager

Managers are the only native Prisma accounts. They are exclusively responsible for administrative tasks within Prisma, such as importing users from Zabbix servers, which in turn result in Prisma user accounts.

Prisma user

Prisma users are imported Zabbix users. They login via the Prisma user account type and use their Zabbix credentials. The import and management of Prisma users and user groups can be performed exclusively by Prisma managers.

Impersonating

Impersonating allows a manager to assume the identity of another user or manager and carry out actions on their behalf. This feature is primarily aimed at managers, who want to provide support for other users. Only administrators with the “Can impersonate” permission have the ability to impersonate other users.
