The Prisma manager dashboard provides an overview of the company that the manager accounts for. This overview includes the quota usage of the company and all added Zabbix servers.
Prisma has two distinct user types - Prisma managers_ and Prisma users_.
Prisma managers are created within Prisma itself and are exclusively designed for administrative purposes. Prisma users, on the other hand, are Zabbix users imported into Prisma.
Companies serve as a virtual representation of a business or department. A company does not necessarily have to correspond to a real company; it can also represent a department or another organizational unit.
Zabbix users are part of a Zabbix server but play a crucial role in various aspects of working with Prisma. These users fall into three distinct categories, Zabbix user, Zabbix service user, and Zabbix root user.
Adding a Zabbix server integrates that server into Prisma and enables access to its data.
Imported Zabbix users are referred to as Prisma users. They focus on all functionalities within Prisma, except administrative tasks.
Prisma utilizes Zabbix user groups for different purposes. Zabbix user groups with specific configurations have their own roles within Prisma.
A Prisma user group is required for using Prisma’s reporting feature. Members operate through a service user. The Zabbix permissions of the service user define the scope of data accessible in reporting.
The permission system in Prisma is based on manager and user roles. Prisma offers default and custom roles defined by a ACL rule set.
Media types specify the delivery method for reports. They are unique to each company and based on these base types: Email, SCP, S3, and Kafka.
Report subscriptions enable the automated delivery of reports based on the configured schedule, types, and user media.
The audit log provides a comprehensive record of all events within the Prisma application.
The manager profile provides tools like a connection tester as well as options for managing support tokens, API tokens or changing the password.
