Templates

Lists all templates from the Zabbix server, which can be inspected for further details.

Each entry in the list features the name and description of the template. Use the search function to filter the displayed templates.

Template details

Clicking an entry opens the details page of a template:

The information provided at the top of a template consists of:

The name of the vendor
The template vendor version
The name of the template
The description

Content

The content section provides an overview of all entities included in the template:

These sections can be expanded or used to navigate to the corresponding pages in DataForge with an applied filter. Sections consist of:

Macros

Expands to show a list of macros provided by the template.

Clicking a macro opens its details page:

The header displays the name of the macro.

Description: Description of the macro.
Default value: Default value of the macro.

Items

Opens an alternative item list page with the Template ID filter applied. This filter ensures that only items from the selected template are displayed. Clicking an item in this list opens an alternative item details page:

The alternative item details page is similar to the item details page. Fields that depend on values collected from a non-templated item are missing, but an additional indicator appears above the item name along with a section called Template.

Templated: Indicates that the item is part of a template.
Item name: Name of the item.
Item description: Description of the item.
Template: Template that the item belongs to. Clicking the template navigates back to the template details.
Key: Unique identifier of the item.
Update interval: Interval at which the item is updated.
Item type: Type of item, such as Zabbix agent, Zabbix trapper, or Simple check.
Value type: Type of information the item collects, such as numeric float, character, or other data types.
Unit: Unit of the item configured in Zabbix.
Tags: Related tag names and values of the item.

Triggers

Opens an alternative trigger page with a Template ID filter applied. Clicking an entry opens an alternative trigger details page.

Templated: Indicates that the trigger is part of a template.
Trigger name: Name of the trigger derived from the Zabbix Trigger field description.
Template: Template that the trigger belongs to. Clicking the template navigates back to the template details.
Severity: Configured severity of the trigger.
Items: Items that the trigger depends on. Clicking an item opens the alternative item details page of the templated item.
Expressions: Expressions of the trigger.
Comments: Zabbix comments of the trigger.
Tags: Related tag names and values of the trigger.
