Zabbix Client

The Zabbix client serves as an interface for inspecting various data of your Zabbix server and managing problems, making it easier to monitor your infrastructure and systems. It offers several filter options for various sections and allows you to create favorite filters for hosts and hostgroups.

Open and closed problems

The pages for open and closed problems in the Zabbix client display problems detected by the Zabbix server.

Triggers

The triggers page in the Zabbix Client provides an overview of all the configured triggers on the Zabbix server. Triggers are expressions used to evaluate the data collected by items. These triggers are associated with severities and can be in one of two states: OK or Problem.

Host groups

Here you can manage your host groups. In Zabbix these are organizational entities used to categorize and manage hosts. Hosts are devices or systems that are monitored by Zabbix. Host groups help to organize and group hosts based on common characteristics or attributes.

Hosts

A page to manage your hosts. Zabbix hosts typically represent physical or virtual devices that are monitored, such as servers, workstations, switches, and more. Hosts are organized into host groups for effective management.

Items

The items page provides an overview of all the items configured on the Zabbix server. Each item represents a specific piece of information that is monitored on a host.

Graphs

This section provides a list of graphs obtained from the Zabbix server. These graphs offer a visually representation of specific items configured on a host. A single graph can visualize multiple items, allowing you to compare different datasets.

Services

This page shows for the hierarchical organization of Services by depicting the parent-child relationships within the list. Services provide a higher-level overview of the systems performance by focusing on the overall availability of specific services rather than monitoring low-level details like disk space or processor load.

Filters and favorites

Each section of the Zabbix client can be filtered by various criteria and in different ways. These include section specific filters, advanced filters, a search function and favorites. Depending on the context, some filters can be persisted or applied implicitly.
