User roles
The permission system in DataForge is based on user roles. A distinction must be made between DataForge user roles and Zabbix user roles. DataForge offers default and customizable user roles based on ACL rules. These roles are defined for each DataForge section, including: Zabbix client, Administration, Reporting, and Self provisioning. With these roles, permissions can be precisely set to control a user’s access to different sections and functionalities within those sections. User roles in DataForge can be
mapped to Zabbix user roles upon import or can be configured manually for each user. For more information on Zabbix roles, please refer to the
Zabbix documentation about User Roles .
