Profile

You can use the manager profile to test your connection, create a support or api token and change your password.

Access your profile by clicking your account email address at the bottom of the navbar:

Connection tester

You can use the connection tester to perform a ping and a stream test. Using the connection tester opens a modal:

  • API URL: The ip and port of the DataForge server.
  • Version: The version of your DataForge instance.
  • User type: Your user type.
  • Login: Your login method.

Connection results

Shows whether the ping and stream tests were successful. This is indicated by the green status OK. If the test was not successful, the chip displays the red status Failed instead.

Support token

A support token can be generated to allow another manager to impersonate you. Click on the settings icon which will open the following form:

If you want to create a support token for the first time, no token is displayed yet. If you have already created a token, it will. To generate a new support token, click on Generate new support token. This can be passed on to other managers so that they can impersonate you.

Change password

You can change your password by clicking Password:

Type in your old password and new password. Confirm the new password and click save.

API token

You can generate an API token by clicking API token. This will open the following form:

If you want to create a API token for the first time, no token is displayed yet. If you have already created a token, it will. To generate a new API token, click on Generate new support token. You can also delete the API token again by clicking Delete API token:
